We are excited to bring you this project facilitated by Apple Education Australia. Over 3 days explore the technologies designed to inspire creativity in young people and allow them to document their learning. Apple has also made improvements to the iPad technology which make using iPads in the classroom easier.

Over 3 days, teachers will have the opportunity to explore a variety of apps for students in the early years to create, including music, video, photography and drawings. The application of these apps will include STEM, literacy and numeracy contexts. Teachers will also explore Apple Classroom to manage student devices and access, and Apple Teacher to further their own professional learning. Guest speakers will also share their experiences and learning from the classroom. Participants will be encouraged to plan and implement a learning experience for students between each workshop.

Apple has made significant enhancements to iOS, for schools and institutions to enable technology managers, IT administrators and teachers to more easily set up iPad and manage it in the classroom. These new updates help simplify and streamline deployment in both one- to-one and shared environments, so your school can get up and running quickly. Join us for this workshop and explore the best ways to deploy iPad in Education settings, and discover Apple School Manager, the Classroom App and hear from a CESA ICT Technical Services Lead about implementation of iPads in CESA school environments. Topics covered will include: Deploying iPad in Education, Apple Classroom app, Purchasing and installing apps, configuring iPads in Jamf Pro, technical Support, Q&A Session.
This 2.5 hour workshop is designed for teachers responsible for IT in schools, IT coordinators, technicians, curriculum leaders/heads of department who are interested in the technical aspects of getting the most out of iPads in the classroom. We ask that the appropriate staff member from each school participating in the Create with iPad program, attend this workshop to ensure the teachers are supported and iPads are ready to be used in the classroom once the Create with iPad professional learning begins.
