The STEM Cup is the first program released under the Day of STEM platform, powered by LifeJourney®.

The STEM Cup program explores career pathways in sports science and data analytics, and culminates with an online maths challenge where the student steps onto the role of the Capoligist.

STEM Draft Day Experience with Mentor Dom Milesi

Experience a ‘Money Can’t Buy’ behind-the-scenes day with Collingwood FC during Draft Week to understand exactly how and why Dom and Collingwood FC draft the next stars for Collingwood and set-up their 2017 roster. The STEM Cup is a Dynamic national maths challenge based on the real-world career of Collingwood Football Club’s Capologist which is part of the the Australia Day of STEM initiative. STEM Cup is also supported by the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT)

Australia 2020 – a Day of STEM program

Australia 2020, within the Day of STEM platform, examines key themes that are woven together to tell a story that brings to life exciting innovations in Australia’s future such as automated vehicles, drone delivery, secure banking, and wireless technologies.

 

Australia 2020 is being promoted through national education associations and their state level affiliates of teachers, schools and communities.

Teachers may run the Australia 2020 Vision in the classroom or as a homework exercise for students.

This exciting experience for students and teachers is the third program released under the Day of STEM platform, powered by LifeJourney®. The program explores six unique careers with iconic Australian companies that are on the cutting-edge of technology and innovation in Australia. The program is designed to give students insight to the different jobs now appearing and the skills needed to succeed in 2020 and beyond.
