STEM X Academy is a five day residential teacher professional learning program held in Canberra from 7th-12th January 2018. The program provides opportunities for primary and secondary teachers to develop hands-on inquiry based learning activities and is run in partnership with the Australian Science Teachers Association, Questacon and the CSIRO.
There are only 70 places available and an application process will select the lucky teachers. Applications open on 14th August and will require interested teachers to complete an online form available on the ASTA website. Successful applicants will be required to contribute $485 to support the cost of flights, meals, accommodation, etc.
